All images taken at Appalachian State University's Dark Sky Observatory with a SBIG Meteor Camera mounted near the Celestron-14" telescope dome.
The C-14 is currently being assembled and automated, as part of Masters Candidate Adam B. Smith's thesis, to be a part of UNC Chapel Hill's FUNGRB/PROMPT programs. It will be available for observation use by jobs queued through SKYNET, an online community of robotic telescopes for public and student education and the ongoing scientific research of Gamma Ray Bursts.
